| A situation that nearly every photographer knows: you find a great shot, get the camera out as quickly as possible, switch it on, and then... the battery gives up on you and the camera stops dead. This is precisely why you need a spare battery. |
|
The 11/2010 edition of the German consumer product testing magazine "Stiftung Warentest" proves that your spare doesn't have to be an expensive rechargeable battery from the camera manufacturer when the gentle-on-the-wallet alternatives from Hama are also up to the task. The lithium-ion rechargeable batteries for the four top-selling DSLR and digital cameras from Canon, Nikon, Panasonic and Sony were tested.

Hama batteries received excellent test results and matched the quality of the original batteries closely. And there's more: the Hama CP826 even beat the original Canon rechargeable battery to the top spot! |
